Obviously the "freebes" didnt come back this week with such a small crowd at the game.

Every other ground in the VFL that I have been to have student concessions, I know I even hold a concession club membership at one club for being a student. So why not student concessions at Frankston???? It is aged pensioners only down there. Maybe Mr President would like to come on here and tell us why Frankston do not adopt the same admission rules as other clubs. And the kiosk - well to run out of Dim Sims, Hot Dogs, Pasties, Pies and Sausages before the end of half time is a disgrace. If there were "only 600" people there they must have catered for 200. Lift your game Dolphins. Also, how many players the Dolphins put in the reserves team today? I reckon they went a player or two short, then suffered two or three injuries. No surprise they were overrun in the last term. If they had a full side in they would probably have won.

Shame on you Frankston...ordinary management!!!. I always thought they were tight-arse's out that way 1 week free entry,so from 1800 to - 600 what a diffrence they are really keen!!! down that way...

Firstly mr footyman i was at Frankston game and thier would have been 1200 at todays game ,i have been going to Frankston games for 3 decades, and i think Frankston team and managment are kicking arse this year,ok they might have ran out ofr food goes to show a lot of people are going to support thier team,Idont know about cons deals for students or pens, but get over it,.You must have walked around the ground 6 times just hoping the crowd on the hill would acknowledg you,bye the way Frankston lost 20 mins of football today,if not for 20 mins in 1st 1/4 Frankston would have 1,Werribee looked very flat.

On a positive, it was my first visit to the ground since the improvements, and Ive got to say the Stand on the southern wing looks fantastic... and the playing surface is first rate. Standing in the centre of the ground, there is no curve or uneveness looking towards the goals at either end. Also, there would have been about 1000 there today.

That was Robbo. I quoted his figure. However, the Frankston FC did not cater adequately for todays crowd however big it was. Maybe that's a good thing for Frankston to get a bigger crowd than expected???? The crowd on the hill add atmosphere but fit the bogan stereotype that people associate with Frankston. Werribee won the four points in both games and stuck it up the Dolphins today. And quite a few Werribee players and officials seemed pretty rapt about that. Sorry Ons, didnt know you were there today, would have caught up with you otherwise.

I was told the attendance was 600. Frankston are the 1st side to keep Werribee under 100 points this season.

No problem fellas. Rather than give due credit to a football club that is busting its ass to remain the only club that still exists in its original form, lets have a whine about a concession! The gates operate on the official pricing set by the VFL. (Except for last week when it was FREE). If the canteen ran out of pies, then that has to be fixed. As for the reserves, big deal. In the big picture, what the hell does it matter! The fact is that they started 2 short because 2 players pulled out on Saturday. I from the seniors, and one from the 2's. The club had released its top-up players to play on the weekend and they had played Saturday so were unavailable. Maybe you would be happier if the club refused to let players go back to their "home" clubs so that the might be available IF they are needed. Thats a great option for the kids. Lets just stop them playing footy in case the club needs them. Great to see such support for a club that is trying to keep the competition in existance!! (btw, thats sarcasm!) Unbeleivable.

I tell you something, putting a team on the park with two players short is asking to lose. And I don't think losing is a "great option for the kids" or is it a good thing for the Frankston Football Club. Bad luck that two blokes pulled out, but maybe the VFL should allow in extreme circumstances a player or two to be used for limited time in a Sunday game even if they have played Saturday. Frankston are going to struggle enough in the reserves against a side with 5 Bulldogs players without being short of players. The Dolphins have never taken the VFL reserves seriously, it seems a necessary evil that they have a team in it but really don't want one.
