If decent lighting could be arranged, I also think the VFL should look at a night game in the first week of finals.

I'd like to see the VFL introduce a "weekend pass" for finals so people can come to both days at TEAC Oval in the first 3 weeks. Whether it was $15 for two days instead of $10 per day or simply buy a ticket Saturday and you can come back Sunday for free. Lets entice people to come back - reward those loyal fans who attend both days and try and get a few to come to both days instead of one!!!!! They'd need to have something that was fraudproof but I'm sure they could arrange that perhaps with a bar code/scanner at the gate like Ticketmaster use.

In 2000 there was a night match (2nd Semi Final) at Waverley when Sandringham played St Kilda. The game was an absolte pearler and a good crowd of at least 6000 turned up by memory. I think that a footrace similar to the Dandy Dolalr Dash should be reintroduced during the finals. Also a 100 metre sprint with reps from all VFL clubs. You can even have a long kicking comp during the finals. With the top four kicking off on Grand Final day.

I understand the VFL doesn't have an endless supply of funds, but things such as George suggests: a sprint at half-time; a kicking competition, etc., these sorts of things won't cost a bundle, and will really enhance the whole experience of Grand Final day.

Definitely a big screen. Ability to watch replays of highlights etc. adds immeasurably to the enjoyment of the game. Good umpiring!. The standard of the competition continues to improve, but the umpiring does not! (Perhaps the umps might not approve of a big screen highlighting their errors!) Playing of club theme songs. Port Melbourne seems to be the only ground where the song of the winning club is played after the game.

:D Yes , after following the Mighty Zebras for over 50 years it will certainly be some reward but other finalists won't give it to us so we shall have to earn it. I think on paper this team nearly the same as past 3 years is as good as and have that experience now of knowing just what to do and when to do it. Arrigant definately not, but confident yes. go zebs zebra

One hanging off a crane or something like that similar to what is used at Olympic Park for Melbourne Storm games would suffice.

With the possibility of no racing this Saturday/Sunday the VFL should seriously look at borrowing one of Racing Victorias mobile Video screens that they truck about, if they aren't going to be used.

Racing Victoria have a few of them anyway, even if the races are back on I'm sure they could use a spare one. It's an absolute priority I reckon. Would make the finals so much better to let people see replays and give the leagues sponsors some advertising on there.
