Finals Week 1 Previews
SATURDAY 1st Elimination Final North Ballarat vs Bendigo Bombers at TEAC Oval,Port Melbourne 1:10pm (ABC TV,Casey Radio) This should be a great clash between the 2 country rivals. Bendigo took Geelong to within 2 goals. last week and are in good form. North Ballarat suffered big losses to both Sandringham and Geelong before last weeks bye. Only Meeting in 2007: Round 13 Sunday 8th July at Central Park,Stawell North Ballarat 14-11(95) def Bendigo Bombers 11-19(85) (Rob Gregg(NB) 4 goals, Angus Monfires(Bend) 3 Goals) Sharkey and Stephenson best for the Roosters. Camporeale and Chartes best for the Bombers. My Tip: Bendigo Bombers by 5 points 1st Qualifying Final Sandringham vs Williamstown at Trevor Barker Oval at 2pm(3XX 1611AM) This should be ripper. The Zebras although coming off a loss last week against Coburg but still reasonable form. The only thing against Zebras at the moment is Melbourne's increasing injury list but they do have a great compantant of VFL players. The Seagulls coming off a workman like win in Tasmania should give the Zebras a run for their money. Meetings in 2007: Round 7 Saturday 19th May at Trevor Barker Oval,Sandringham Sandringham 16-16(112) def Williamstown 13-12(90) (Russell Robertson(Sand) 4 goals, Brett Johnson (Will) 4 goals) Chris Johnson and Wheatley best for Zebras, Brett Johnson and Greene best for the Seagulls) Round 15 Sunday 22nd July at Burbank Oval,Williamstown Sandringham 7-11(53) def Williamstown 6-11(47) (Ben Holland, Peter Summers(Sand) 2 goals, Williamstown all singles goal scorers) Valenti and Summers best for the Zebras, Iles and Nicholls best for the Seagulls. My Tip: Sandringham by 11 points SUNDAY 2nd Qualifying Final Geelong vs Coburg Tigers at TEAC Oval,Port Melbourne at 1:10pm (ABC TV,3XX 1611AM) The Cats are coming off a solid win in Bendigo last round while the Tigers are coming of an impressive win against minor premiers Sandy. It should be a great game with both teams in great form coming into this match. With the game being played on a neutral ground it should be a close finish. Only meeting in 2007: Round 17 Saturday 4th August at Skilled Stadium,Geelong Geelong 18-14(122) def Coburg Tigers 12-13(85) (Ryan Gamble (Geel) 4 goals, Brett Hartigan (Cob) 3 goals) Gamble and Hollmer best for the Cats, Pattison and Shelton best for the Tigers) My Tip: Geelong by 17 points 2nd Elimination Final Casey Scorpions vs Port Melbourne at Casey Fields,Cranbourne East 2pm(Casey Radio) Casey Scorpions got back on the winners list with a tough 10 point win over the Dolphins but this will give them some confidence especially playing at home. The Borough are effectively playing their 2nd straight final after a great win last round knocking the Bullants out of the finals. Casey have won both meetings this year. Meetings in 2007: Round 9 Sunday 10th June at Casey Fields Casey Scorpions 14-19(103) def Port Melbourne 12-7(79) (Fergus Watts (CS) 3 goals, Matthew Smith and Jeremy Dukes (PM) 2 goals) Carmody and Matthews best for the Scorpions, Pleming and Milhussen best for the Borough. Round 17 Saturday 4th August TEAC Oval,Port Melbourne Casey Scorpions 18-19(127) def Port Melbourne 13-10(88 ) (Barry Brooks(CS) 4 goals, David Pitt, Adrian Bonaddio and Jeremy Dukes (PM) 2 goals each) Geary and Matthews best for the Scorpions, McMahon and Pitt best for the Borough. My Tip: Casey Scorpions by 33 points

That is an excellent preview Robbo. Unlike Ons, I hope you're right about the Scorpions

possible betting Sandy 1.70 v Willy 2.10 Geelong 1.60 v Coburg 2.20 North Ballarat 2.00 v Bendigo 1.90 Casey 1.50 v Port 2.40 Sandy v Willy could go either way. Depends on Sandy's team. Geelong shouild manage Coburg by a couple of goals North Ballarat a bit of a hit or miss team could beat bendigo where Essendon could drag a few out of Bendigo's team, especially for Essendon's trip to Perth. Casey will be fairly confident but Port having nothing to lose and could surprise.
Which radio outlets are covering which games?
3XX games are confirmed, I would say that Casey Radio would do the other finals. I have listed the stations in the 1st post.

Good job robbo. Which would you argue be MAtch of the round?? I reckon Coburg Vs. Geelong will be an absoloute cracker, they will all be great games, but I reckon this one will be the pick of them!
