2007 Grand Final Preview
SUNDAY Coburg Tigers vs Geelong at MC Labour Park,Carlton 2:15pm (ABC TV, Casey Radio, 3XX 1611AM, 774 ABC Melbourne, 3AW 693, 95.5FM K-ROCK) This should be a great game!!!! These 2 sides met just a couple of weeks ago in the Qualifying Final and Coburg stuck with the Cats until 3 Quarter Time before Geelong ran away with a 31 point win. Can the Tigers sustain the pressure for the whole game or will the Cats experience win the game. I think Coburg can stay with the Cats for most of the game but I think the Cats can run away with it in the last quarter and win their 2nd VFL premiership. Meetings in 2007: Round 17 Saturday 4th August at Skilled Stadium,Geelong Geelong 18-14(122) def Coburg Tigers 12-13(85) (Ryan Gamble (Geel) 4 goals, Brett Hartigan (Cob) 3 goals) Gamble and Hollmer best for the Cats, Pattison and Shelton best for the Tigers 2nd Qualifying Final Sunday 2nd September at TEAC Oval,Port Melbourne Geelong 22-16(148) def Coburg Tigers 17-15(117) (Davenport,Cheep(Geel) 4 goals each, Krakouer and Connors(Cob) 3 goals each) Hawkins and King best for the Cats, Hill and Carnell best for the Tigers. It's actually Brent Hartigan, not Brett Robbo. Also is K Rock's coverage confirmed? I don't think they ended up doing it last year and were only doing score updates with a few guys such at Andrew Bews at the ground.

Good point Robbo. I remember last year that everyone had a box but it was a bit cramped for all involved.

Is it right the ABC have allocated 3 1/2 hours to the coverage this year? Might make things a little less rushed and get a better post game coverage if thats the case.
