Surely Dalton has to come into the side.. But who would go out? Luke Peel perhaps or Tim Kelly? Tough call for those who miss out.. There have been some regulars that look like watching on the sidelines on Sunday.

Coburg Tigers 3.4 8.13 12.16 17.20 (122) Port Melbourne 3.2 3.6 5.6 8.8 (56) GOALS: Coburg Tigers: Hughes 5 Mullins 3 De Sousa 3 Anderson Liddle CURRIE Corr Carrick Lynch Port Melbourne: Dwyer 2 Kelly 2 Gilham Pearce Thomas Carroll BEST: Coburg Tigers: Foster Riddle Anderson Sewell Vasilevski Liddle Port Melbourne: Nixon Nixon Cain Dwyer Nayna Kelly REPORTED PLAYERS: Coburg Tigers: R. Trajkovski (Coburg Tigers) for striking R. Bloomfield (Port Melbourne) at the quarter time break. Port Melbourne: Nil Very disapointing game from the Borough which was riddled with skill errors. The blustery conditions didn't help but Coburg were far better on the day. We probably didn't win enough of the football to win, but we didn't make the most of our opportunities into the forward line. There was the best brawl seen in the VFA for some time at the quarter time break which will have more reports come out of it that just the one mentioned above. The windy conditions made for a game without much atmosphere, and the lopsided scoreboard didn't help. Ordinary way to complete a season that began with so much promise. On a sidenote I managed to get some dirt/grit in my eye midway through our game which wouldn't come out. St Johns Ambulance tried their best to flush it out without success so I ended up missing most of the Senior Grand Final as I waited at the Eye and Ear Hospital for some help. Not a memorable Grand Final day for any of the good reasons!

That sucks massively Ons! Shit way to spend the game. As for the game... Meh. PS - Vasilevski - Was he playing in the EDFL last year?

Geez sorry to hear about your day Ons. On the bright side you didnt miss anything too exciting! The reserves game was all one way after quarter time, with Port scoring a goal on the quarter time siren and taking until 20 minutes during the third term for their next. A really poor piece of umpiring within the last minute of the second term, where Coburg were given a free which led to a double goal, basically snuffed out any hope Port may have had of fighting back as the margin went from 25 points to 37 within the blink of an eye. The highlight of the second half was a speccy by Michael Farrelly, a mark that even Port's Shayne Allen - who was used as the step ladder - put the hand out to his opponent to say well done. Feel for Shaun Huy who was on the crutchers by quarter time with an ice pack on the left knee. Hopefully nothing too serious, he missed most of his top age year with Calder due to a knee reco, and I think a good chunk of this year with injury too, so its a shame to see a bloke like that who works their way through that to miss out on playing in the big game - but he walks away with a medal and having contributed to their success this year. Vasilevski played Northern Knights last year, went to draft screening but missed being drafted or rookie listed. Casey Radio interviewed him after the match on the ground, I think he was saying it was his first ever Grand Final. BTW, I will comment in their thread but well done to them on their coverage of the reserves and the interviews post game of that match. Brilliant.

Hope you get better soon Ons. What on earth was Andy Collins thinking when Cleve Hughes was dropped to the reserves? Any ideas people?

Hartigan had nothing to do with the Dalton report. As for Smith last year, maybe if he hadn't of smashed half the Coburg players head in, he might not have got done. It had nothing to do with ROC.

His form hasn't been flash so the dropping of Cleve was obviously justified then.
