Now please I don't want to get into a scrap about it, but your posting about the quality of our call Kain is a low-blow. Anton at 3XX has already said if you have any problems please contact him and sort it out that way. I understand you did send Dan Hill an email reply saying that no 3SER callers would be helping him in his TAC Cup coverage project. I believe it was about my post saying how we were first to podcast, first at the game, etc... We were focusing on our positives... what's wrong with that? I did push with those POSITIVES are you had posted....
The VFL's No.1 Choice 97.7FM...
Now do you have the statisical PROOF and it's source to back that up??? If not, then you cannot make that claim. We cannot make that claim as well, as again... there is no current statisical proof on offer. Now before I can continue I would like to apologies to all vflfooty.com fans about this so called "radio wars" firing up again - I don't know where it has come from, but I think we are all sick off it. Now I'm going back to the Double X thread to talk about why we post on other forums and marketing theory behind it. Thank you... and Northport, sorry for all this **** mate, your site is fantastic. Peter. (all comments here are by and only from Peter Holden and not on behalf of any radio station or any other persons)

Peter, Thanks for your response Yeah it was harsh... You crew do every effort to produce a great broadcast, and with some new heads your future looks bright. It wasnt a personal attack on anybody Your reacting to some advertising many Commercial Stations use. It was just a new call sign from a variety of call signs we have used in the past. 'VFL's No1 Choice' really Peter your pulling at straws, it was one of the 3XX crew to say 'your the best callers' what's the difference I'm happy if you wanted to come and show your stuff working on Casey Radio in a head on battle with myself to show who is the better caller... Antons post came on after this and emailed me in relation to posts made... You guys do what you do and thats fine..

Could all stations please give curtain raiser results and frequent scores of the match being broadcast?
Could all stations please give curtain raiser results and frequent scores of the match being broadcast?
We always give the curtain raiser unless their is an omission made on our part. I clearly remember the reserves scores from both our games being broadcast on the weekend. We give score updates as regularly as possible, but there are logistical issues that make this difficult. Yesterday's broadcast finished before two final scores were listed on the VFL website. We don't have enough volunteers to have people stationed at each ground, but then to be honest there's really nothing to stop you guys from ringing the station and giving us a report from around the grounds.

Can you honestly say Chris Weaver is the premier caller on Casey Radio? To be honest, I think Cain Pollard is the better caller, especially when a game is tight. But I will say this. In my opinion they both tend to be overly critical of players when they make mistakes, more so Cain. I heard him getting stuck into Callam Urhc last year and it was very poor, stuff like get off the ground and catch the bus home. A couple of weeks ago when the Ants played Collingwood I heard Chris come in over the top of Phil Cleary as he was making a good point about stoppage work. It was frustrating Cleery couldn't get to his point. Remember that he's the expert and when he speaks, you shut it. Having said that, I appreciate their efforts. These guys don't get paid and they put a lot of hours into the VFL coverage. Keep it going

Just one thing - this author has never claimed himself to be a 'premier' caller or any other such rubbish. The final term of yesterday's game is up on the homepage. Hopefully it's not 'overly critical' of the players :P

Let's not take away the enthusiam these guys show, for most part they are committing their own money and time for the competition and so us supporters know whats going on. We have (me included) probably lost track of that a bit. If everyone challenged every mistake or stupid thing I said I'd spend my life defending myself! Look forward to listening to whatever you call this week guys.
Tempting
I knew you'd crawl out from under your rock to reply to that one. Hows about giving us something Dolph, you're too much of a fence sitter nowadays.

NorthPort has lost his sence of humour.
