Why won't you post something about Phil publicly?
Ben, yesterday was excellent. Phil was wonderful to work with, and a real treat for a couple of young callers such as Kain and myself.

In relation to Footymans question Simon Petch was our guest on this weeks show and we were discussing the lack of atmosphere currently at VFL Grounds. Ons sorry for not getting to your post during the show, we were in studio one but will move back to the other studio with net access this weekend!! Phil Cleary coming to Casey Radio 97.7FM was a coup!! If an arrangement can be worked out with station management he will be working every fortnight as our expert comments position. He was great on the weekend.. I just hope ABC Management dont hear how good he is and they snatch him back on their VFL Broadcasts. Podcasting will be established shortly where you will be able to hear some of Phil's finest work.. Also look him up on You Tube and checkout his own site In other news Former Pie and Bulldog Tyson Lane to join our broadcasts in the next few weeks. Thanks everyone for their support!!

Speaking of Tyson Lane, the former Footscray and Collingwood player coached Hastings to its firat win in more than a year with their 11 point win over Karingal. Hastings last win was in Round 16 2006. Martin Pike could not get a win last season for Hastings. Would have been huge celebrations on the weekend.

Good to see Phil Cleary give Casey Radio a big boost up in Inside Football today. He said the guys he worked with, Cain Pollard and Tim Weaver, showed a lot of passion and knowledge of the competition. It's clear that Casey Radio has taken its coverage to a higher level this season. Getting Adrian Dunn on is another excellent get. Well done guys. But can I suggest you lkeave off Nigel Carmody until he starts getting a kick for Collingwood! He'd better have a local club up his sleeve the way he's tracking.
