Looking forward to this game. preston have done well this season but this will be a big test. Looking at the line ups I think this could be the day Bonaddio breaks through and kicks a big bag

It certainly will be a big test. Although, I thought last week was a test and it ended up a belting - Sandringham aren't the same team we played earlier in the year. Excuse my ignorance, but what injury does Fanning have at the moment? Will he be back anytime soon?

Hopefully the goings on at the Borough this week hasn't affect preperation, and we really give the 'ants a good stomping. Agree with BoroughBurger, this could be a game Bonaddio can really have a big impact in.

Northern Bullants 1.1 4.4 4.9 7.10 (52) Port Melbourne 4.5 8.8 10.10 15.13 (103) GOALS: Northern Bullants: Ackland 2 Lappin 2 Saddington Walker Ellard Port Melbourne: Pitt 4 Cotchett 3 McMahon 3 Bonaddio 2 Thomas 2 Cain BEST: Northern Bullants: Joseph Austin Vansittart Walker Pfeiffer Saddington Port Melbourne: Thomas Baird McMahon Pitt McGrath Pleming Another good win to the Borough! A strong wind blew all days, but the skill level was better than expected considering the conditions. McGrath and Baird rock solid in defence, and Livo and Pleming also doing a good job. A little surprised to see Thomas named as Ports first Best.. He was very good, but thought a couple of other might have played a better game. Cotchett also led by example. Quite a few suffles during the day, and I'm surprised there were no reports. I also thought there was a very strong Port Melbourne turn-out.. Possibly more than Preston had at the game. The wind always reduces the atmosphere, but near the kiosk there was some decent crowd noise.

Port get stronger week by week. Had a few ales with a few guys from Preston's 1968 flag. Great guys and it was fantastic to talk about the old days of VFA. Love the grass roots of the old VFA days. Preston had a past players day from their 1968 and 1983 Premierships teams. Good session at the Preston Social Club followed by Cramer's at Preston. Sweet VFA !!!

Another good win. Kudos to the Bullants too, they never gave up. Fair bit of spirit in the game too but the umps did the right thing and let a lot of it go. Thommo was very very good, he kicked a goal just after half time that was an absolute gem, quick gather and snap under pressure, dribbled it along the ground through heavy traffic. He can play. Robbie got the heavy tag and a lot of attention from the Ants defenders, they must have decided he was the main threat. Pitty, Cotchy, JB and Shooter were great and i though McGrath set up some great moves. Ayers praised the backline at quarter time and they were hard and tight all day forcing the Ants to go wide and indirect, great shut down job in the last when Preston had the wind. Look out Bombers.

Does Baird have one hand on the Liston Trophy?
