Liston Prediction?
We've got a bit off topic of late, just wondering who people are tipping for the Liston just past half way through the season? The options below are the top 10 based on number of times players have been named in the best players so far this year. Feel free to name any others though!

Robin 'Gauci' Nahas. Been a sensation and the umpires can notice him.

My money is on Baird picking up the JJ Liston. Been sensational. I reckon Nahas would favorite for the Fothergill-Round medallist too.

I think Baird will win it.. possible Street to get the most votes but miss out for obvious reasons.. Pinwill probobly has had the most touches of all port players and is in and under, Maybe not flashy enough.

Baird and Street will fight it out. Nahas is a certainty for the Round-Fothergill.

Your right Jason. Street got one week. he will poll very well early but cannot win of course. Baird has been outstanding all season. Speaking of John Baird he is not the son of former Brunswick gun forward from the 70s Doug Baird. Bobby and myself asked John but said his dad was only a battler as a footballer and not the Doug Baird. Got my wires crossed somewhere. I remember John Baird playing for Hawthorn at the oval in London against Essendon. he kicked two very long goals. Also in this game was Stephen Milne in an Essendon jumper. He kicked a few goals as well. It was in 1999.

Baird for mine, was instrumental against us and from reports has been outstanding in general all year. Silvagni has had a good year but how often do Full Backs poll well?
