Tommy Roach is a special I'd say - pure class, carries the footy in one hand, goes on lots of long gallops up the park and wins games for the Roosters. For those casting the votes he fits perfectly.
[quote:1aa3899217="iceman"]Baird for mine, was instrumental against us and from reports has been outstanding in general all year. Silvagni has had a good year but how often do Full Backs poll well?
I think Fred Goldsmith of South Melbourne and Bernie Smith of Geelong both fullbacks to win a Brownlow Medal and I think Steve Silvagni highest count in a Brownlow was 8 votes and he was fullback of the century.
Bernie Smith was actually a back pocket.

I think Baird will be right up in the votes, but I have only seen Tivendale a handful of times. Anyone willing to put up some new names into this thread that might be a chance for the JJ Liston?

Iacca won't win it. He was much better last year. He has been a good player, but has lacked the consistency of last year.

Because he isnt up to that big step to AFL anymore...Would not be surprised if he plays for Richmond this week as farewell game. Hope he sticks around at Coburg for a couple more seasons.
