The Cats' clash with Box Hill before the Geelong-Fremantle match is likely to be moved if the heavy rain forecast for today and tomorrow hits the city as predicted. VFL football manager Ben Waller said a decision on whether their match remained at Skilled or was moved, most likely to Box Hill on Saturday afternoon, would be made either late today or early tomorrow. "We'll work together with the City of Greater Geelong and the ground management and try and gauge how much rain we are likely to get in next few days and what damage might be done (to the surface) on Saturday," Waller said. "We can understand the reasons why it might have to happen. The focus is to obviously get the ground in pristine condition for the game against Fremantle this weekend and then the Western Bulldogs the weekend after. "It's important the ground is looked after for the AFL matches." The other option is to switch the VFL match to Sunday, but that would also depend on how much rain fell over the weekend.
