Apparently the initial fear was that he had a broken jaw, but I'm told that was thankfully discounted pretty quickly. No doubt he'll have scans and tests during the week, but at this stage would seem likely to play.

Its too bad the TV cameras didnt pick up the weak act by peter Street off off the ball. A deliberate elbow to the face of Ryan Mcmahon when the ball was a mile away. He also threw punches when the Port players remestrated. This wasd a big turning point in the game. It resulted in a Port goal followed by Street getting called for holding the ball in the centre...Another Port goal before Gotch dragged Street.

Although Willy were struggling against the breeze, that act of frustration was just what Port needed to lift an extra cog. And a more accurate description of what Street did would be to say he threw 'punches' - they were hardly knockout blows that he aimed at David Fanning! :)
