It will be difficult[/quote]Their cameras are on the second tier which makes it even less possible to deliberately not show the third tier. The higher up they are, the easier it is to disguise a small crowd because the camera will be pointing down to the ground more. Plus if the ABC use the TV hosting area at the Telstra Dome, they'll have a backdrop of an empty third tier.

Well then it will be hard.. Do you think they will even fill the first and second levels anyway? In the highly unlikely case they did they'd have to open up the higher levels?

The second tier will fill up on the city side (medallion club wont be full), the bottom level wont be full. Not a chance I'd want to be watching the game from the bottom level. It'll be a disaster. It sounds like the VFL are aiming really, really low now. When they announced it they hoped for 25,000, then they hoped for 12,000. Telstra Dome are preparing for less than 10,000 tomorrow night. In other words, Telstra Dome are expecting less people to watch the VFL Grand Final than a number of major country and suburban league Grand Finals. And if it gets smashed in the TV ratings too, that'll just rub salt into the wound. They'd want to hope for a really, really good and more importantly close contest.

I hope we get support there or i will be dissapointed indeed.. I reckon 6500 will go..

The only real media this week has been a Robin Nahas article. Yeah a few radio interviews but the everyday person would have no idea this was on. Why cant we get articles in the Herald Sun and Age every day leading up to the Grand Final??? Will The Footy Show mention anything tonight??? People know about the Brownlow, AFL grand final parade and all the other events that are happening this week. We need to let the general public know that The VFL Grand final is part of the week and is on friday. Im excited about this friday I just hope people support the game cos it would look terrible seeing empty seats on TV.
