Highlights of the VFL fixture for 2009 include: • Night football - at Werribee’s Barter Card Oval and Cranbourne’s Casey Fields on Saturday, April 18. • Holiday football – the ANZAC round includes the traditional clash between Box Hill Hawks and Coburg Tigers at Box Hill. The Queen’s Birthday Monday, June 8 fixture sees Bendigo Bombers hosting Box Hill. • North Ballarat takes VFL football to their region, as the Roosters host country rival Bendigo at Stawell on May 10. • The EastLink Cup between Box Hill Hawks and Frankston will be played on May 23 at Box Hill City Oval. • On Saturday, May 4, the Roosters unveil their VFL Premiership flag to their faithful against Collingwood. Please note all fixtures are subject to change. The ABC TV Match of the Day has been allocated for rounds one to four. Match of the Day fixtures for rounds five to 20 will be identified on a rolling basis to meet the needs of ABC TV.
