VFL logo gone from TAC Cup jumpers?

Question for those of you who get along to the U18 games.. I noticed the VFL logo on TAC jumpers has now been replaced with the AFL Victoria logo. Was this done to better differentiate the two competitions?

another kick in the teeth for the VFL... I would say it's because they can! When did Footy Vic change to AFL VIC?

Well I guess technically they aren't playing in the Victorian Football League so they probably shouldn't be granted the right to don it on the jumper.

Did you pick up a footy record on the weekend? You'll notice that the footy record is titled the AFL Victoria Record.

AFL Victoria run the two competitions. The "V" logo essentially is the logo for the VFL competition.
