What odds you would have got for a 13 goals to one 3/4 time scoreline in Frankston's favour ??
Sandy will amazingly still be in the hunt as Williamstown will hopefully flog the filth today.
Being a Richmond supporter I went to the MCG and watched probably the worst effort ever in going to matches since Kevin Bartlett had hair.
Losing by almost 16 goals to the filth you cnnt get any worse.
Hope the seagulls can carve the maggots to peices in waht will be a vwey windy Point Gellibrand today.
By the way I give Frankston a fair chance of also knocking the filth next week.
The dolphins have played much more endeavour over the past few weeks.

Wont the Saints fans be disappointed that they wont have a seconds team for the finals - do I care nope!

Here is the general opinion of St Kilda idiots on their forum!

AFAIC they can go and *** themselves and I hope they dont win the flag .Always was a mongrel club and nothing has changed in their long pathetic history.
Hey Billy, since St.Turda gives the great Sandringham such disrespect and now that the season is basically over for sandy, why not play all the Sainturd players in your ressies? What is the financial situation of Sandy? Can they go standalone?

Comeng
Surprisingly l I dont think the Zebras have the dough to go standalone and considering Dennis Gallemberti who is on the board is/was a Pokies Venue broker its a bit strange.

Somehow for all the experenced and smart people on the Sandy board it seems they dont have an income stream from pokies like Willy, Port and Nth Ballarat. Still I would rather support a team where ALL the players are putting and playing to win all the time - not just to get an AFL game.
I would have to say joining with St Kilda is the worst move the club has made in my lifetime. At least Willy and Port woke up to Collingwood and Sydney/Nth Melb intentions before it was too late.

I fear that by taking St Kildas money and relyng on it to stay afloat Sandy will eventually go the way of Coburg,Preston and Box Hill in being only a shadow of their VFA past and be virtual League seconds teams.
And for the GC team playing in the VICTORIAN Football League - what a f***** joke.Once again what the AFL wants it gets.

seems like you are suggesting that you thought sandy were the better team on the day and should have won but for inaccurate kicking. which in plain wrong and also ridiculous seeing as you said you left half way during the game.

frankston dominated the game and led by 70+ points..the scoreline flattered sandy after they kicked some junk goals after the intensity went out of the game with the result being decided.

frontrunner st kilda players who were not willing to get the hard ball came into the game when they were able to use their skills. also as a sidenote this would have usually been sautners time to shine after the result of a game was determined but he was held goalless by an undersized sam gill, who also snuck forward to kick the dolphins last goal.

so in closing scorp that is just rubbish, and you are degrading the way that the dolphins dominated every facet of the game yesterday just because sandy kicked some junk time goals

Don't rely on Sauntner when the chips are down.
The biggest front runner in the history of the game.
Has the guts of an easter egg.
And I don't want to hear about his bloody record.

Oh dear...there you go again Digs...you contunually slag off Sautner then have the nerve to say you don't want to hear about his record..

Let me remind you AGAIN

1-2-3-4-5 Premierships!..I just love typing that statistic cos Digs, Statistics don't lie

You seem to have a real chip on your shoulder about the so called salubrious surroundings of Sandy or down the peninsula way

Lighten up...you're on your way to a possible 2 in a row...

Instead of being so bitter about Sautner and Sandy, enjoy the ride your team is taking you on...you might...just might enjoy it

Sandy. The most successful club in the past 30 years

Low key game at Williamstown today, with Collingwood rubbish. Strong wind blew across the ground, but favouring the scoreboard end. The wind eased off at 3 1/4 time just before it bucketed down rain to make the last 1/4 a sloppy game.
Williamstown had a couple of irregulars in Georgiadis and Notman, together with Bulldogs rookie White. Despite the wind, Willy posted 17.3 after 1/4 time, which probably reflects the lack of pressure from Collingwood.
Good to see Little back up forward and Galea actually take some strong grabs.

Dale 61,
yes it was windy and my spelling was as good as Collingmaggots were at Point Gellibrand today. My excuse I was in a rush this morning. Collingwood's excuse is because they are garbage. Anyway that's my excuse.
Williamstown were awesome and I was really looking forward to a 100+ point win. Still I would take a 69 pont win over the maggots anyday.
Dean Galea was sensational and with a three pronged attack Little, Rose and Galea the forward line looks very dangerous. Galea has heaps of ability but can be at times undisciplined. Today he was on song and played terrific footy.
Collingwood were absolutely pathetic and laughable. I expect the dolphins to win again next week when they play the maggots.
What is that goose going to write in the Herald Sun tomorrow ?
Anthony Rocca stars with 5 kicks 3 handballs ???? Will Dean Galea get mentioned , I think not. It will be a full page double spread on Anthony Rocca.

Frankston have been gradually improving and the win at Sandringham will give them confidence for next week as well as Presrton at home in the final round.
The filth will unfortunately fall into eighth spot as Sandy have 2 tough games away to Port and the roosters. Coburg have to play at Preston. Werribee even if they win both their matches have a poor percentage.

I have just watched the replay of Preston v Geelong and amazingly only 4 points were kicked at the market end with 18.35.143 at the southern end.
One of the strongest winds seen in a televised game.

Zebraman, Thanks for the encouragement, but I don't have one problem with the Sandringham football club, as a matter of fact I have some good friends there.
My problem is along with most other VFL supporters is Sauntner.
The most despised player ever to pull a boot on.

Good to seee the young AFL / Collingwood sycophant didn't disappoint you vfa.

Rocca's brilliant contribution of 2 goals 6 behinds earned an honourable mention and praise from the coach!

Yes, the standard of reporting on this competition has reached an all time low. Even poor old Howard Leigh has fallen in line with the AFL apologists, he was brainwashed years ago.

According to todays Age "...Rusling emerged unscathed, while Anthony Rocca was rampant in the 21.9.135 to 9.12.66 loss." A total of 8 paragraphs on Collingwood and 1 on Williamstown - who won ??
