Rocca pumped
Collingwood veteran will come under serious consideration for Saturday's game against Sydney at the MCG after another strong performance in the VFL.
The star forward booted 2.6 in Ciollingwood's 69 point loss to Williamstown and was names in the best.
What a load of crap.
More like he struggled as he is as slow as a wet week.

My headlines would have been Williamstown give pathetic pies a hiding.
Williamstown's Dean Galea a standout booting 4 goals with Joyce and Matty Little also chipping in with 4 goals in the seagulls BIG WIN over the overated FILTH !!!!!!

Robbo

I spoke with Howard Leigh a few weeks ago about this the journalists are told they have the right about the AFL players not the VFL players. He would prefer to write about the VFL players but the papers won't publish that.

Not going to happen any time soon VFA!. The current badly administered VFL has well and truly reached the tipping point and is now only the VFL/State League in name.
Its sadly looking more like the AFL reserves by the day.

Rocca was ordinary yet the goose wrote that he was one of the best.
He is slow as a wet weak. I actually hope he gets a game for Collingwood as he WILL BE a LIABILITY !!!!
According to todays Age "...Rusling emerged unscathed, while Anthony Rocca was rampant in the 21.9.135 to 9.12.66 loss." A total of 8 paragraphs on Collingwood and 1 on Williamstown - who won ??
That would have to be the most ridiculous piece of sports "journalism" I have ever read.

Fancy describing the performance of a key forward who kicked 2 goals in a 12 goal pasting as "rampant"!

It would be laughable if it wasn't such a sad commentary of where this competition is at and how it is perceived in non-VFL circles.

It is very laughable piece of journalism Mustang.

Lets re word it what it should have read.

Rusling could not catch a cold yesterday and did not roll his ankle or do another knee. Overated Collingwood hack Anthony Rocca was wasteful in a poor dispay in Collingwood's inept performance copping a hiding at Williamstown yesterday. The magpies had no clue whatsoever and were flogged by a far better team in Williamstown. As for Rocca HE IS GONE !!!!

Now that's more to the point than the drivel written yet again.
Still nothing beats the garbage written by Chris Mitchell on his lovechild Josh 'Hack' Fraser last season.

yes it was windy and my spelling was as good as Collingmaggots were at Point Gellibrand today. My excuse I was in a rush this morning. Collingwood's excuse is because they are garbage. Anyway that's my excuse.
Chill mate, was just taking the p155!
I know you were.
At least we are both happy with the result yesterday.

Speaking of matches at Point Gellibrand I heard yesterday that Williamstown will play tghe first 4 or 5 home games in 2010 at Williamstown before the ground becomes unavailable. There is a strong prospect that one of Williamstown's home matches will be played at Wangaratta.

My problem is along with most other VFL supporters is Sauntner.
The most despised player ever to pull a boot on.
I know there's a Nick SAUTNER playing for Sandy, but who does this SAUNTNER play for?

If you're gunna be hatin' on a player, at least get his name right!
You're getting a little picky Dale !.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
