I've got to say footyman I'm a little bit disappointed, I was expecting a good old fashioned bake! I'm at uni in Geelong so I'm writing in the Addy and calling the BFL Part-Time, I'm calling the 1st semi between Colac and Bell Park this Sunday at Kardinia Park.
I've been keeping an eye on the Zebras, even with the upgrade in AFL talent this season they don;t seem to have gelled at all. Maybe next year.
Has the VFL itself improved or declined since last season? I would've thought Frankston struggling isn't great for the comp.
Disappointed I didn't give you a bake? Why would I do that? Sounds like you're travelling along well.
Without wanting to anger NorthPort too much by going off topic (I am vflfooty.com's worst offender at doing it), I think the VFL has declined since last season. More and more of the diehard supporters seem to be dropping off, the heart and soul players who carried on that "VFA" flavour when this competition was rebranded are almost gone (Sautner may well be the only one left), Frankston have been down, Coburg, Bendigo and the Bullants have a cloud hanging over their heads and the VFL has got a real feeling of being simply an AFL reserves competition.

Depends on Smith's media commitments too, he'd probably have to throw Fox Sports away if he took up the Werribee gig.
Pretty sure the Kangaroos want a full time coach at Werribee to manage the other half of their list the same as the Roosters.
What they want & what they get should be up to Werribee, But like everything else it will depend on the dollars & how well the Bees are travelling.
Anthony Rock would be a good fit all round.
Probably no chance now as I think Rocky has been given the flick by North
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
'Exclusive' article on Herald Sun site that Atkins has been re-signed for his 6th season in charge.
Those who told me he has gone are now saying 'they couldn't find anyone else suitable enough to coach' - i think there has been a movement to get rid of axe but he's survived.

You better find some new sources!! ;)
Have to admit, I'm really surprised they have signed Atkins for another year, it seemed so strong that he was going to be on his way to try other things. And to "not find anyone else suitable enough to coach"...they cant be serious. There would be people starting out their coaching careers who would be lining up for a VFL coaching gig like that I would have thought.
Ah well, good luck to Axe. The great VOTB got it wrong, and so did I. Check your PMs VOTB.
