Big difference between a cut that needed stitches and a cut that needs 15 stitches. Bloody hell. there would hardly be a game where people dont get concussion or cuts..lets not get all nancy about it. Arms and legs go everywhere in footy. Some are a bit more ordinary than others but it was just cut skin that was repaired. If it was really that heavy he would have been concussed. From watching the game he was back on the ground shortly after. As for the dobbing in tatics according to Jasonborough, well 'every dog has their day'.
Agreed.. Though generally in a contest not 80m off the play
Understand that, but still there are many physical contests that happen off the ball just working for position or getting that extra yard of space. Now if a guy was left with a broken cheek bone or unconcious I would agree that it is not on and a hefty suspension should be dealt out. A cut generally looks a lot worse than it really is. Who really knows, but from the sound of things, the williamstown player could have handled things better post match.
It seems as though Williamstown are up to there dirty tricks again and Im not talking about leaving dog shit on there playing surface again.

Williamstown have gone out of there way and contacted the VFL about an off the ball incident that happened last week. Toby Pinwell will not play this week and has been suspended for 1 week. No report was made on the day so Williamstown have deliberatly gone to the effort to make a player miss a finals game.
I dont think this is in the spirit of the game at all. What happened to "what happens on the field, stays on the field??? Id also call it unsportsman like.

Shame on you Williamstown I hope Preston fix you up again for the second time this season. Its appropriate that your football club holds a dog day as we all know that sums up what you are.
About this time last year burra you were just about calling for Liam Picken to be put in front of a firing squad for his hit on one of your blokes. That was in play and on camera.

It's a little trite now to say that because Pinwill wasn't 'seen' it should go unpenalised.
It is a tad hypocritical that when it's a Port player on the receiving end, cries from the Port fans for the offending players execution is all you can hear, but when a Port player offends, apparently unseen, and the incident is reported, cries of 'Boo hoo, it's not fair' is all you can hear from the Port fans.

It must be a PMFC thing that you think you can have your cake, and eat it as well!
Are you gonna head down on sunday and give your team some support dale

Inforapenny, Yeah I was calling for Picken to be rubbed out. If he did that this year he would of got 6 weeks. Dont have a problem with saying that, however our club didnt follow up this incident and try to get Picken in strife and rubbed out. We let the tribunal do its job and we didnt go out of our way to contact the VFL.
Things happen on the field for right or wrong, my point is after the game was over this certain player sooked to the VFL.

Maybe he did this because he hardly touched the ball that day or that Rodney Eade has told him that he will be delisted??? Im sure this player will get a great reception if Williamstown play Port Melbourne again this season.
