Thanks Jase,
You are a good sport.
I was looking for you after the game to buy you a pot but I understand that you have to drive home. Might be able to catch up next week, but I'm not sure when the reserves play.
At the 10 min mark of the third quarter we were in more s##t than a Werribee duck. Good to finish off on a good note.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

North Ballarat were far too good in both finals. In the reserves they had the Dolphins measure right from start to finish and a 19 point margin didn't rally show the dominance North Ballarat had.

In the seniors it was arm wrestle for the first 2 and a half quarters before North Ballarat pulled away from the Borough. Port did not play as bad as the final scoreline says but thats what happens when teams get on a roll.

North Ballarat where just too good in the second half of the 3rd quarter and in the last. Hopefully the Borough bounce back next week. Enjoy the week off Roosters.

How disappointing was Casey getting flogged by Collingwood :-(

Not only disappointing but the piss poor crowd of maybe 1500 is one of the worst Ive ever seen at a VFA/VFL final on a fine day ever!
We know that Casey/Springvale have never had much support but so much for the much vaunted Collingwood army - me thinks its a load of shit.
I drove past a local finals game and they would have had 3 times what was at Port.

The crowd was disappointing considering Collingwood are playing tomorrow...

I expected Collingwood to win but not by that much...

Same as the North Ballarat/Port match...a much higher than expected margin

Roosters looking pretty good for a back to back

Not sure thats correct Robbo,
It clearly says in this weeks footy program that of the 4 clubs involved in the Prelim Finals the club that finished higher on the ladder after the home and away season would get a Saturday Prelim.
