Well done, Crossy, you had a great year! And deserved your chance in the Seniors finals.

Let's hope you can add a premiership medal to the A Todd medal this Sunday.

Certainly a deserved winner fantastic VFL player in both grades! Good luck to Box Hill this week, certainly the best VFL reserves team going about.. Though it would be quite funny to see Sandy win as they were the only team to lose to Bendigo this year!!!

Well done to Cross he has had a fantastic year.

I noticed Sandy last week played St Kilda player Eddy who was best on ground and kicked 6 goals. Hes a big chance to play for the saints on friday night.

I think you'll find the Eddy who slotted six for Sandy was Brett Eddy, the boy from the bush.

I hadn't even thought of that!

You would reckon Box Hill would be long odds on this week; but the VFL reserves finals have thrown up some huge upsets in recent years:

2003 - Bullants lost only game for the year to Williamstown in the grand final.

2006 - Williamstown lost ony game for the year to Box Hill in the grand final.

2008 - Coburg went through home and away season undefeated, didn't even make the grand final.

I think Joel Cross, Ben Fagan and Lachie George who played against Port Melbourne are all qualified to play in the reserves this week.
