SEN this Thursday night

North Port and Lum you will be pleased to know that former Camberwell full forward from the mid 70s to early 80s Gary Happy Hammond will be this weeks guest on the vfl hour (Sunday Bloody Sunday) segment on Thursday night. I will confirm it tomorrow.
No doubt he will have some great stories talking about the 1979 2nd Division flag as well as some of the tough full backs he has encountered.

Great to hear VFA.

A Camberwell legend.

Thanks VFA.
Won't miss it.
He was great to watch. Took so many great marks (None recorded?).
He was also belted unmercifully. I recall brutal treatment in Box Hill and Caulfield matches, but none worse than in a Dandenong match involving one Alan Harper.

I'll give Matt Lee a call later to see if he has contacted Happy Hammond.
Hopefully he has as it would be quite intersting to see what he says about certain fullbacks and the old VFA days with the cobras.
Lum you might have to let Arthur know so he can listen as he would be quite interested being an old cobra fan.

David B advised his Camberwell list of this.

Night time reception of SEN 1116 is very poor here so can someone please record the segment for me?

Cobrascorer I will get a CD copy from Matt Lee and will burn you a copy.
I wonder what he says about certain fullbacks who tried to belt him.

You beauty! What an opening.

Finey is sticking up for the Old VFA and giving it (indirectly) to the AFL.

(borrowing Craf's line) "That's what I'm talking about"!!!

Pete.

That's Finey, a lover of popular opinion!

I rang in, but never got on.. Was going to agree that the Gold Coast addition is a bad move, and gives the comp more identity issues!

Also, I think this week is David Pitts 175th match giving him life membership.

I was going to raise both issues. Oh well!
