Still hasn't really sunk in that the Bullants are in the grand-final and probably won't until well after the season has finished. Personally I can't stomach any proposals to 're-brand' the club as the Blues. Success is the greatest brand, a premiership to go along with the improved finacial position off the field is what the club needs right now.

We did have a nice draw and that made it easier to finish in the top four, nonetheless the finals performances have been outstanding and a reflect a team that is playing premiership football.

Nth Ballarat have a stronger list than last year and will be a formidable opponent. I wouldn't read too much into the recent form between the two sides, the present Nth Ballarat side is stronger and a few of the Bullants wins have come in heavy conditions.
Bully,
The Roosters have lost their last 8 games against the Bullants from round 2 2005. Average loss 36 pts.
25 played in all for a 14 to 11 win for the Roosters.
On that basis maybe the Ants are favourites.

Was speaking to the crew at AFL Vic, looks like I might just be on 'reserve' for any duties on Friday.

If that turns out to be the case, I might have to join George, Laurie, Northport & a few others at the Great Western having a few warm up drinks before the big one!

Pete.

I think the stadium has someone on staff for it this time. Not 100% sure.

The beers are good at the Great Western and the meals are not bad either.
They will at least get a better crowd than last year. ironically there has already been over 20,000 tickets sold for the Storm game for Saturday night. I would expect quite a few to turn up on the night where the Storm could get in excess of 40,000. The VFL would kill for half that crowd.
