crowd just announced....14,026...
considering the weather that's a pretty good turnout
Thay must have counted them twice.LOL
It looked shocking on TV probibly the worst crowd Ive ever seen at Docklands for a footy match.
FFS the hit and giggle CH 9 Legends game gets twice as many as were there tonight.
What did you think of the result Billy.
It could be another long summer.
We might be from the bush. but we ain't green
Thought Stephenson was remarkable.
Watched it at home - it really didn't look good at the Dome and I'm no so sure the time slot works. I'm not sure what the answer is. Optus Oval didn't really work either....
It was a really good win also when you consider that North Ballarat where down to one on the bench in the last term. Is a three-peat on the way?

I missed the presentation of the Norm Goss Medal, who won it?
I saw the 2nd half of the presentations and it was pretty poor IMO. No dais and could they wind things up any quicker?
Absolutely disgraceful the way the medals were presented.
All they wanted was to get people off the ground so as they could start preparing for the rugby tonight.
No dais, no sound & no give a shit.
A lot of people at AFL have to be looked at.
Agreed. Plus when they gave them the cup, they didn't play the theme song again.
Things really fizzled out which was a bloody terrible way to end the season :(
Congratulations to North Ballarat on their premiership 2009 as they were the better team.I have been in hospital but got out on friday so I watched the game on ABC HD.Good luck Digs & all the other Rooster supporters on your premiership win as my beloved Port Melbourne didn't make the grand final I supported your team on the night.
Welcome back Bobby. Great to see your posts again.
Hope everyhting went ok.
Also great to catch up with zebraman at Teac Oval recently and hopefully you will have 100 percent recovery.
Cheers from VFA George and all other VFA followers.

Did not realise that you had been crook,
Hope everthing went OK and look forward to catching up again next year.
Had a chat with George & Jason on friday night.
Jason was dolled up like a pox doctors clerk. Sensational hat. Had the Mask on too.
Thanks for your support & best wishes for your recovery.
It's all a little surreal up here at the moment & I am still trying to come to terms with the fact that we have Won another premiership.
Fitzy is huge on the process & does not veer in anything away from his beliefs. Money could not buy him at the moment.
All the footy club ever wanted was to be competitive & to gain respect in the competition & I think we have now achieved that.
Well done Roosters on another well deserved premiership, I got a bit of a scare there late thinking the Bullants would come back but this simply wasn't to be.
Great to see you Digs after the game in the victorious North Ballarat rooms and everyone looked so chuffed with going back to back.
Also saw Ons twice in two days as well, we seems to be in the same places all the time eh?
I have a post game interview with Fitzy if anyone is interested in listening to the audio, please drop me a pm with your e-mail address in it and will send it to you.
Big weekend for yours truly with the VFL GF, AFL GF and NRL PF .
Today has been a relaxing day at home.
Well done roosters on a great effort to go back to back.
Digs in the words of Billy Brownless enjoy a frothy or two.
On the local footy show this week they showed some footage from the Golden Days of footy segment which they have unearthed.
They have some reels from Port Melbourne v Williamtown GFs at the Junction Oval from the mid to late 50s in colour. This will be shown next year.
Looking forward to this.
North Ballarat were too good, they are one of the great football clubs in the land. I was proud of the way the Bullants fought the game out but we never really looked like winning.
