Should Saturday's TV games return to a 2PM start?
Assuming the ABC play these games an hour earlier to try and maintain their ratings against the Channel 10 delayed coverage, but do you think it is really worth doing? Are TV viewers going to switch over to the AFL game as soon as it starts? TV coverage reduces the crowds at a game Scheduling the game an reduces the crowd further.

It's more the finishing time that annoys me with 1pm starts - it doesn't feel right going to a game and having it finish at 3:45.

Also for those that like to get along to watch the reserves the 10am start is a bit rough particuarly when playing away.

I hate going to TV games, half the time less people go so the atmosphere is lousy and the hour earlier start means you have to get there at a time when Maccas is still serving breakfast if you want to see the ressies. And to be honest, a lot of footy fans not to mention pubs, clubs, tabs have fox footy anyway so there is always access to AFL footy from 2pm saturday for most people. The fact channel 10 starts at 3.30pm doesn't mean much.
