Simon Goosey coaching Frankston in 2010

Good to have a local identity in the Mornington Peninsula area coaching the Dolphins next year.

Best of luck, lets hope Frankston are in for a big year following this signing.

No doubt Simon Goosey has the whole of Mornington Penisula right behind him as he put in many games there and won flags also. Goosey is a great name for Frankston.

Best move for the dolphins. If anyone can recruit from the area it is Simon Goosey a local legend who kicked a stack of goals for Mornington. Has played for Geelong, Richmond and Frankston as well as Morningon and Dromana.
Expect a much more competitive dolphin team.
As for Shannon Grant he has a long long way to go if he has ambitions to become an afl coach.

Definitely Dolphins coach for 2010 then, rumours turn out to be true. Interesting to see how he goes. What was his role at Port? Forwards coach or a broader role?

FFS!!

Bring the Peninsula together??

Don't belevie all that you hear.

He probably has support of about 10% and the problem with Goosey is that it is all about Goosey.

Without knowing too much about Goosey as a person I thought that he was a great Get, but obviously Dolphin knows more. What are his short comings.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

He'll be OK, he's just not the messiah that some were suggesting.

That is of course assuming he has the job.

The Goose will do well at Frankston, much better option than Shannon Grant.
I will be very surprised if Goosey does not attract some very good local talent.
Plenty of experience and would have learned a fair bit from Gary Ayres.
