Who should be the coach of the 2010 state team

Interested in posters thoughts on who should get the nod to coach the Victorian side against WA in May 2010.
No prizes for my selection.

The current premiership coach should get the gig.

I agree that it should be Fitz, though my money is on Peter German.. Seems to be a favorite at AFLVic

Shannon Grant should get the nod as he was senstaional last year.
Only joking. He is a dud.

Fitgerald should be an automatic choice especially after back to back flags and having coached the state previously.
Fitzy would be around even money with German at 5/2 and Ayres at 3/1.

Shannon Grant would be the same odds as Richmond winning the afl in 2010, Zimbabwe winning the next World Cup Cricket final or Demetriou giving up the afl and coaching South Melbourne Hellas in the local Vic Soccer League.

Coach of past 2 premierships Fitzgerald certainly is the best so far.

It should be a no brainer, but the Port faithful will tell us otherwise. Germans experience and knowledge of players in the WAFL might get him the gig ahead of Fitz and Ayers.

Hickmont gets my vote - hang on he got sacked, bugger I guess Fitz would be the next best choice.

Fitzie should be a no brainer, back to back premiers but his record over the period of time in the vfl is hard to beat.he has the respect of everyone he comes in contact with in all areas of football. His knowledge of his own players and more importantly the opposition is spot on,so its Fitzie all the way.
