There is a lot more outs this year for most of the clubs lists than other years.
There seems to be weaker sides but there could be some new players that excel as well as other players that improve rapidly.
For the dolphins having such a large turnover and a very young team they could take a bit of time. Still as long as they have a red hot go week in week out and gradually improve during the season. I am sure that is what Goosey will be aiming for sure. Also to add a hard edge and have a real dip. Time will tell of course.
Frankstonboy at least give them a go as you can't lay the boots in before they have played a game as yet. Also see how they are travelling in June or July rather than one practice game or after 2 rounds.
Maybe just maybe they will do a lot better than you think, not only for dolphin supporters but for the comp.

It would be very uncharacteristic for a Frankston side not to be competitive. Although they have had little finals success as such they have always had a red hot go. One team the Roosters have always struggled against.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

The rnd 1 clash between Sandy and Dollies is gonna be a cracker.

Already being 2 sides that have a great riverly and since some of the dollies ex team mates will be playing against them you could expect this to be one hell of a game.

The best thing about the Frankston football club is the vibe that they have around the place that they want to succeed at the VFL level with mostly only the talent of the players from local competition. you look at some of the players frankston has made over the years. Top Level State VFL players, AFL players this mostly from local footballers.

Frankstonboy you sit there saying you have supported the club for 32 years... and can rip into your club like you have been its a disgrace mate. You ride the Bad times aswell as the GOOD Times you dont sit there pointing fingers and saying whos to blame when your side hits the wall you have faith that your team will pull through and become a tough and hard to beat side again and hopefully share in a premiership celebration with them in your lifetime.

Im sure the other guys on here would agree with what i have said there. you dont change your strips each year

Well said dolphinarmy. I totally agree.
When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
Frankstonboy ????
True supporters should stick with their teams through ALL the GOOD and BAD times.
The Round one clash might be very very interesting. Intense rivalry.

Thier are supporters then thier are members.
Support your club, get down thier and show you are thier for the next 30+ years.
A club is only as strong as thier support and i would say , You will not get a better crowd involvment than at a Frankston game and thats from all over the ground not just the hill.

Thoolen will turnout to be a gun.
The opposite of chocolates to boiled lollies = magpie maggots to devastating dolphin.
I hope Thoolen tears Collingwood apart when the dolphins play them.

Digs let hope for a big season by Thoolen.

Rocca would be out of puff in the 2 minute mark of the first quarter.
Waste of space.

I hope Lee remembers the filth when the dolphins play them.
I am sure the Frankston faithful especially on the wing have long memories.
The tool that rammed him into the fence is no longer there ?
