A decent recovery at the end of day one.. The Vics were 5/60 at one stage, so to get just shy of 300 was a good effort. Wade and Hastings fought back strongly.

Lets hope we rip through the banana benders cheaply tomorrow.

Hell those Bushranger bowlers Hastings,Wright,MacDonald,
McGain and Pattinson all bowled exceptionally well all day and with a little luck would have given the Vics a very handy lead.
The Bushrangers can go on and win this Final.

Good win by the Vics.
Got to 2 of the days, and enjoyed watching the boys bat through most of day 4.

Hopefully test players will be available early in the next shield season, which would make some of these games huge.

The Vics have been very consistent in all games (Shield, one dayers and twenty 20) over the past few years. They have great depth at District Level who can show up when promoted to play for the Vics at first class level.
Certainly gave the Queenslanders a shellacking.
