Who would you back at the moment Robbo ?
Looks very evenly balanced.
Maybe the Saints just ...

Robbo

Evenly poised still. Not a high scoring game but an interesting one.

Robbo,

I use to work with Tony Ward who is one of the umpires. He played district cricket for Collingwood and North Melbourne I think. Was a good bowler. Also umpired in the VFA in the 80s.
He is a keen Essendon supporter and does not mind the trots.
Very down to earth bloke who has umpired some Twenty 20 matches at the MCG as well as some interstate.

Melbourne have won their first 1st XI title since 1997/98 after defeating St Kilda by 55 runs at Melbourne Uni today. It is Melbourne's 19th 1st XI flag. Rob Cooper with his 114 in the 1st Innnings won the John Scholes Medal for player of the final.

Good to see the Dragons win something at least albeit a fourths flag.
