I`m still dumbfounded by the decision by the club as there is no regard to get a members voice or commenting on any decision of the new jumper or anything else involving the club and the direction its going for the future us members just never get a say anymore , if I knew this was going to happen I would not of gave any money for the new pavillion in which I helped gave a donation and proud of doing such thing in which I can see my club I love so much have a great facility to enjoy with lots of years in future times .

Theres no chance of that happening we haven`t got the supporter base or the money , we have to relay on Hawthorn to get us out of trouble & plus they have put a lot of money into the club just to see us survive.

A bit different to the picture being painted on this thread...

Most Clubs have an ALTERNATE jumper so why shouldn't Box Hill be any different?

How many of you dills actually managed to read the article past the first sentence?

-Did you see the bit that said they'd do this for 2 years, then put it to the members for a vote on which jumper to use? I think you missed the mark there!

Once the 2 years are up the Hawthorn members will vote on that strip

Have a look at the Hawthorn clash jumper

Now look at the new Box Hill jumper

Similar, aren't they?

Who is pulling the strings down at Box Hill City oval?

Doesn.t quite look like a mustang??????

Yeah the club is no longer the Mustangs, so I guess the move to having more focus on the Hawk on the jumper as opposed to the Mustang is fair enough.

I'd have much preferred to see the older Box Hill jumper that Hawthorn also wore, that was predominantly brown, with a yellow V.

Oh well.. Time to move on.

Now there’s a solid idea! We wore the brown jumper with gold v in our 1000th match against Willy in a final a few years back. Perfect way to represent history of both clubs, it’s a decent looking footy jumper (what were Hawthorn thinking when they changed it) and you can stick a hawk and a mustang on it.

The jumpers looked stupid on Saturday; when will people in charge realise tedious detailed logos don’t translate on footy jumpers, it essentially looked like a yellow jumper with a brown triangle sticking out the side. Look at Port Adelaide, just reverted to a traditional looking jumper after trying for years to get on right – KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!

By the way, anyone see Hawthorns new camouflage jumper? And this is the club that bought us the gold brown and NAVY BLUE diamond jumper? Hawthorn have got a woeful track record when it comes to jumpers!
