FRANKSTON footy fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Ben Cousins on Sunday.
The
AFL star will line up with the Coburg Tigers against the Frankston Dolphins at
Frankston Park, along with fellow banished Richmond players Daniel Connors, Dean
Polo and Luke McGuane.
The phones have been running hot at Frankston Football Club over the past few
days as fans seek confirmation that Cousins will be in action.
Dolphins officials are bracing themselves for a bumper crowd and have ordered
twice the usual amount of beer and food.
"We’ve ordered a heap more," Dolphins coach Simon Goosey said.
"I reckon we’ll get a few thousand (people) here. Heaps have rung up."
Goosey said it was likely a young Frankston player - either Mark Baguley, Mitch
Bosward or Michael Hibberd - would tag Cousins.
