ground conditions.

Ground condition at Eureka Stadium yesterday for Sandringham v North Ballarat could not be better. After some night rain in the area overnight the ground came up in tip top condition and it's a pleasure to have change rooms also very good.

Is it no wonder that Afl teams are tempted to play there more often. And to cap off a perfect day the Sandy reserves all played well to win comfortably. Good players Keiffer Smith-Cameron,Maddison Hardiman,Tommy Lynch,Sean Dempster,Luke Myles,Cam Hunter,Madison Andrew,Blake Mcgrath.

Zebra, Yes mate very good Sandy reserves side bolstered by a couple of very good senior players. Far too good for the Roosters. I think we improved a bit since the game at TBO.
Sorry I missed you yesterday. I woke up too late to realise that you may well be officiating.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

The North Ballarat ground was like a bowling green compared to Casey Fields the week before...

All in all a very pleasant trip to Ballarat even allowing for the fact that I had to leave in the dark at 6.15 am to get there by 0900

One of our players lives in Sorrento and he had to leave even earlier

Sandy. The most successful club in the past 30 years

I heard a comment on the abc game at Wiliamstown v Casey. They said something about the Casey ground. Will the next home game there be relocated due to the conditions ?
Springvale nee Casey have played home games at Springvale, Moorabbin, Pakenham, Morwell, Waverley Park, Shepley Oval, Traralgon when the Springvale ground was water logged and Casey. Will there be another ground to this list ? Maybe a game at Warragul, Drouin, Sale, Moe or even Berwick ??

Didnt think much of the preston ground, very muddy centre area, the grass seemed to have weeds coming out of it,maybe its the type of grass.

Been to Vic Park and Cramer St in recent times.

Vic Park surface is excellent and gets a B+ to an A

Cramer St just seems to be getting worse by the day, D (and that's being generous).
