Sam Dwyer amongst the bests in the 'twos'. Let's hope he gets confidence back in the knee and gets back into the Port midfield soon.
Great to see bones kick a few, will be interesting to see where this weeks game is,but when your dealing with tools in schwab and hook,it will be played at casey why not gold coast first game then straight to bendigo the next, what do you expect from two knobs.
I watched the game last night. From a Port perspective, I though Wall was very good particularly early.
Phil Cleary mentioned that Heath O'Farrell also is back training or playing.. Not sure which.
Good to see Ayres coaching from ground level, while leaving the tactical / match-up type stuff to the coaching staff up in the box.
My brother mentioned that Chris Cain injured his back, and may not return this season.. Are real loss if true.
Don't forget the good news that Gary Ayres will be coaching Port Melbourne for another season :)
Northport, Heath has played the past two games in the reserves.
Dwyer may come straight back in.
Lynch will be close this week.
Not sure about Caino.
Ayres to GWS???
I though Ayres did the right thing with Dalton. He was the state fullback a month ago but his form hasnt been up to scratch since.
Ive been watching him closly and he has been abit too cocky trying to outmark opponenets even when he is behind in the contest. His primary job is to defend firstly then attack when his team has the ball. He simply hasnt been doing this.
I think by dropping Dalton a few guys got a wake up call and realized that no one is safe if there not doing there job. Top effort on saturday, good team effort.

Paul Amy has mentioned in his excellent article that Lynch will be out for the season.
