If you can honestly think Port will Bow out of the finals in straigh sets you are very wrong.

Port will be Hurting all week from the Willy clash i think we should win by a at least 4 or 5 goals.

I really would like a crack at the roosters at home i feel we have the team to beat you guys and upset your premireship dreams.

Go Port

The banner is comming out this week :)[/quote]

Station,
What are you all on down there.
Could you please show me where I said Port would bow out in straight sets. ??
All I queried was how Commie could come up with a margin a week from the game without knowing the make up of teams, injuries or the fabric of the opposition.
I'm sure there would be plenty of takers who would accept your offer of 4 to 5 goals in & if you get another crack at the Roosters , well may the best team win.
I think I have heard that song about Port destroying the Roosters dreams before.
Sweet dreams. !!!

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

One week at a time fellas, Box Hill play Port and should be a very good game, heard on radio Port had a couple of injuries from Willy game but maybe Hawks have a few sore players also.
Hot form is good and Box Hill have a very good team and may well squeeze in with a victory.

Ports injuries will severely impact the sides run and carry.

I reckon this weeks game will go down right to the wire.

If Galea also misses, it would be a huge effort to get away with the win.

Not sure i just threw it up there as i know you would have a comment on it.

Lets be honest the Roosters need a good strong side to push them and i think Port is the team not box hiil :)

Port will have at least 5 changes this week. Not good news from the Borough camp. Galea, Batsanis, McLaren are all out. Steve Brewer is still 2 weeks away.

Port will be hoping for a wet day so they can play smalls in Lynch, Schultz, Keddell etc.
Obviously a horror time to get injuries.

I just hope that Port a REAL footy club can get up against the Hawthorn seconds

Burra me boy,
All teams get injuries & Port will field their best team available.
It is only about a month ago that Port posters were talking up the double, flags for the seniors & reserves, so there must be plenty of quality players available.
What's happened to Lynch who arrived with plenty of hype early in the season ???

Lynch has been out for 2 months with a bad ankle injury. All reports said he was done for the yr but he made a suprise comeback in the 2s the other week. Until his injury he was having a good yr and we have missed him sorely. Not blaming injuries digs, just pointing out we will have a new look side this week in particular. As a stand alone team u want all players available but that's footy and we will have 22 desperate players run out on our turf this Sunday.

You can't blame injuries, all sides have them. But there is no doubt that it is unsettling to be missing several players that would be in your starting 18. Bringing in kids at September isn't ideal.

Go Borough!2010
