Could it be a rematch of last years Grand Final now?
Who cares another boring game played in front of poor crowd. BTW the WRFL finals at Werribbe had another big crowd it looked like 6000 - 8000 in fact the most I have ever seen at Chirnside Park it put the effort at Box Hill to shame.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

How big was their Television audience???

There was a good crowd at Frankston yesterday for the MPNFL comp as well....but I scoured The Green Guide for TV coverage and couldn't find any mention of the WRFL or MPNFL finals

All I found was the V F L finals...live on ABC @...

Not bad for a so called crap competetion...

Sandy. The most successful club in the past 30 years

Back from Tassie and will now start to watch both Prelims which I taped.
The crowd at Glenorchy for the SFL PF between Dodges Ferry v Huonville was not too bad. The ground at Glenorchy is terrific. They have a TAB at the ground and the names on the Hall of Fame players at Glenorchy is a who's who of footy.

Thanks again Blackrocker for the quarter by quarter updates on both Prelims.

Local word in Tassie is that Aker is a strong chance to play for Glenorchy next season. Just a matter of working out salary cap restrictions and finance.
Locals want Aker and he is keen. As bad as his mouth has been would be great coup for the local Tassie State League.

To all the Port and Willy supporters chill and have an ale with each other.
Footy is footy and as supporters sometimes it can be emotional but in the end have a cold frothy !!!
Roosters have been very consistent and will most likely do a Port 80/81/82, Williamstown and Sandy to win three straight flags.
