Last 5 meetings
Round 2 2010 at Eureka Stadium North Ballarat 13-10(88) def Northern Bullants 10-10(70)
Grand Final 2009 at Etihad Stadium North Ballarat 14-7(91) def Northern Bullants 10-8(68)

Round 7 2008 at NAB Oval,Preston Northern Bullants 16-9(105) def North Ballarat 9-9(63)

This is shaping as a great contest. The favorites North Ballarat have convincing gone through the finals series and are in great shape looking for a 3rd straight premiership. They are get Leigh Harding back from injury for the game. The Roosters are on a 5 game winning streak including defeating Casey and Box Hill in the finals. Their last loss was in Round 15 against Werribee at Werribee. The Northern Bullants came into this game on a 4 game winning streak and defeating Collingwood,Casey Scorpions and Williamstown in the finals to get to the grand final. The Bullants last loss was in Round 17 against Casey at Visy Park. This will be a close contest as the Bullants would have learnt a lot from losing last year's Grand Final but I think the Roosters will be too strong.

The roosters to win by over 39 at $3 is the go.
Back it into the Big O, Steve Clifton, Myles Sewell or Cory Jones for the Norm Goss. Even safer taking the 19+ points at $1.90.
I expect the roosters to be too good and make it a hatrick of flags. Yes the bullants might have learnt from last season but don't forget the roosters have won the last 2 flags at Ethihad Stadium. No Cloke this year for the ants and they also had the mosquito fleet that were handy last year.
Roosters by 10 goals for me. The Big O is my top pick for the Norm Goss.

VFA, What have you been on over in Tassie. ??
The Roosters will be happy with a 1 point victory.
It's a grand final, so anything can happen.
Leigh Harding will be an in, so somebody will be dissappointed.
Corey Jones will be the best player playing in the game, so I reckon $15.00 is not bad value.
Dan Feery might be a chance also, tough nut who has got it on a string at the minute.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

Still recovering Digs. Four days on the turps. Played 2 games of volleyball last night and have another one tonight. All those vbs, carlton and cascades will slowly evaporate.
Seriously I reckon the chooks will be far too good. I know you won't like to say anything that could jinx your team and yes anything can happen in a Grand Final. Watching the replay the other night Feery is certainly a tough nut and is good value at $41. If Isaac Smith steps up even further and plays a blinder it would enhance his chances bigtime to be drafted. Impressed on what I have seen of him so far. Couch goes ok as well. Got great evasive skills. Saad from the bullants has great skills and the X factor.

However, aflvic.com.au has the game streaming - not sure if they are charging or not though.

BTW 3BA's call will be live from 1pm on Sunday.
