quarter time scores, not looking good for Preston :-(
2010 VFL Seniors
North Ballarat 6.5
Northern Bullants 1.1
North Ballarat 6.5 10.9
Northern Bullants 1.1 5.3
Bullants played much better that quarter but still couldn't close the gap - kicked 3 goals in 7 minutes & started to look half a chance - hope they can make a contest of it in the second half .....
2010 VFL Seniors, 3/4 time
North Ballarat 6.5 10.9 14.9
Northern Bullants 1.1 5.3 10.5
Bullants VERY good that quarter & could have been much closer with a bit of luck - Roosters getting the better of the umpiring decisions .....
Well done to the ROOSters in completing the 3peat.
Whoops double post
There was a fight in the crowd in the last quarter in the left forward pocket at the Spencer st station end. One guy lost his shirt as the security guard jumped the fence. Someone pointed out that it was reminiscent on the VFA.
North where far to good on the day and never looked like losing. It was just one of those days when nothing went right for northern.
What was the crowd figure? I think it would have been about 10000. So I suppose the vfl will accept defeat and move the game back to princes park?

Yep, far too good, don't think Willi would have beaten them if we had made it, based on today's performance .... the scary thing is that they could well do it again next year :-(

Did anyone hear James Brayshaw even mention the VFL Grand Final on the Footy Show this morning? I didn't but i didn't see it all either, but as he is the President of North Melbourne which is aligned with North Ballarat I thought that he may have given it a plug. I did hear him talk about some family day at Arden Street & he said he was heading there, so that demonstrates how highly he regards the alignment. However, I stand to be corrected on that.
