VFL at Punt Road Oval
Body:

Interesting story in The Age today about Richmond and Punt Rd Oval.

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/tigers-to-claw-out-of-debt-2010111...

In particular:
The Age understands VFL games could return to Punt Road with the recently negotiated relocation of the Richmond Cricket Club. Both Richmond and St Kilda are understood to have negotiated agreements for VFL games to return to the traditional suburban home grounds.

The Saints' new Moorabbin deal with the Victorian government is expected to be announced today and The Age understands part of the Tigers' forward planning is to also play host to VFL and community football.

Punt Rd as a possible VFL Grand Final venue?

Coburg to have 3 home grounds?? Coburg City Oval, Highgate reserve Cragiburn and Punt Rd
Could this be the end of Coburg City Oval or are Richmond looking to field their own VFL team?

St Kilda want VFL games at Moorabbin. Sandringham games?

It's not far from Moorabbin to Sandringham or are the Saints looking to field there own VFL team?

If these AFL reserves teams want to be in the VFL then the comp should definitely be split into conferences like the new NEAFL. VFL clubs (ie with seniors and reserves) in one conference and AFL reserves teams in the other conference.
Crossover games during the year, separate finals and then a play-off between the conference premiers.
