Box Hil Hawks re-sign players.

The Box Hill Hawks have resigned a number of senior star players as the team builds towards a strong start to season 2011.
Sam Gibson had a breakout 2010 season which was kick started with a tidy 39 posessions and 6 goals against Werribee in Round 1. 'Gibbo' stepped up in a leadership role to cover for the injured Steve Kenna throughout the season and has grown into a dominant VFL midfielder for the club. Senior Coach Damian Carroll said "I am really looking forward to helping Gibbo continue his impressive development this season as he is a player with immense talent and high level fitness who can really take his game to a new level"
Ryan Jackson joined the Box Hill Hawks in 2010 from the Carlton rookie list and after an injury interrupted start to 2010, found strong form as the Hawks pushed into the Preliminary Final. 'Jacko' has been training the house down over summer and will be looking to step into a running mid field role this season according to Carroll, "Jacko is posting very strong numbers on the track and we are looking forward to having his class in the midfield more regularly this season if all goes to plan".
