Fevola to Frankston??

Just caught the tail end of an interview with Simon Goosey.. Sounded like Brendon Fevola has signed with Frankston instead of Casey!

Huge news if true and will help with a healthy rivalry between the two clubs.

Can anyone confirm?

SEN reports that Fevola will meet club officials next week to discuss playing at the Dolphins in 2011.

They also said that Casey may not be as keen on Fevola as they previously were.

Money not weighing on his decision to sign with a VFL club.

Hmmm.... Wonder if he will also be meeting the Borough?

Old news Jason,
The bush telegraph was beating that tune 3 days ago.
You're a bit slow you city slickers.
Don't give me that crap about not wanting him, you'd kill for him, He'd be enought to get you over the line in September.

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

Frankston can have Fev and his brother. We only want blokes who wont to play for for the club.

Just off topic, Digs why was there alcohol allowed at Eureka stadium the other week for the Kangaroos vs Bulldogs practice game?

Last time I was there we wernt allowed to leave the social rooms with beer. Have the Roosters relaxed there stance on alcohol? or were they just trying to cash in on having a big crowd??

Looking forward to round 12 with the knowledge I can stand where I want and have a few drinks.

ill def be happy if Fev come to Frankston, , sure he can still kick a bag and will pull plenty thru the gate... come on down Fev

Burra,
Alcohol was being served from several booths around the ground. During the home & away season canned beer can be purchased from a booth outside the social club.
Beer purchased inside the social club is prohibited outside because of it being in glass.
Everyone is welcome inside & it is not such a bad place to be in the middle of June to August.

Crowds would be huge down at Frankston, especially if he only plays a few games.. they could really market them.. Frankston v Collingwood, with Fev playing would be massive!

So he doesnt seem to like the fact that Casey will be playing 16 AFL blokes each week.

Seems like he has really done his home work on the VFL. Wonder if he knows how good Frankston are??
