THE Northern Bullants have made the past two grand finals on the back of strong finishes to the season and are again primed to jump into the top four if they defeat Casey at Casey Fields in the final round of VFL today.

Certainly, the mouth-watering match-up between Michael Jamison and former Blue Brendan Fevola will be a talking point - with Fevola booting 33 goals in five matches to give himself a chance for an AFL lifeline - but today's battle for fourth spot between the Bullants, Casey and Werribee is much more pivotal.

Bullants coach Darren Harris believes finals have arrived a week early and the Bullants are again up for the challenge. Consequently, they also need Werribee, which wants fourth spot, to lose to North Ballarat today.
