is this the one starring the Saints supporting Rhyss Muldoon.
love it - he said he was delighted to at least 'pretend' to be a football player

The final game was filmed at Mt Evelyn Football Ground.
The ground was covered with mud which made it look like a real old fashion game of footy. Terry Norris who played Sgt O'Riley on Cop Shop and was also a member (MP) for Noble Park was part of the crew.

Top show - highly recommended. Grass roots football at its best.

Warning. There is a movie with this name listed for this Friday on WIN and presumably 9, but is a 2010 "romantic comedy", not the football one.

My son and I were both in this film and what a miserable time was had during the filming. it really was sub zero temperatures out at that dung hill called Mt Evelyn.I was a coach along with the VFA own Georgeous George of the opposition decked out with our scarves and beanies.
3Wbc's own Paul Hooper is also in the bar scene sinking pots.
Fantastic casting along with Wilfred's adam Zwar trying to be a footballer.
What was funny was the rag tag opposition side slaughtered the stars and we continually had to stop the play to look slow, pathetic and useless so that the stars could get a touch and some of the oppo players just couldn't do it. Was a great day.
Rhys Muldoon was terrific and just like any other wet and miserable footy day we finished had a shower and proceeded to the bar which the ladies auxiliary had prepared earlier.

Have belief for the path to victory has been well worn however seldom do we arrive at the destination.

Wish I kept the jumper as that would be a collectors item. Don't forget the legendary Terry 'Seargeant O'Rielly from Cop shop fame' Norris. He was the president
My other half was goal umpire and she is in the IMD database and credited as actress goal umpire.
