practice match form

This year has been very hard to judge, with a very young list, and not having everyone ready for the matches.good to have Paul Mcmahon and Michael Searl back, they look like they have never left. The players camp at Lorne was a great success, with Ray Mclean again to the fore with a great talk to the boys ,Ray is certainly of great value with the message he brings across,to knew and established players alike.I do think the roosters will give plenty of cheek as the season progresses.

Saintgail, its the Roosters of course.
Paul McMahon a roosters premiership player.
Michael Searl one of the best defenders in the comp.

This is also posted in the North Ballarat forums :-)

I was surprised when Paul McMahon left.. I thought he was an underrated player at the Roosters who was instrumental in a few of their wins. It's a huge filup to get him back to the club.

the roosters never wanted Paul Mcmahon to go ,a lot of pressure was put on him to return to his local club to win their first ever flag in the Ballarat football league, which they did, thanks to Paul who kicked 7 goals in the grand final, and also won the Henderson medal in the BFL,SO THEIR INSISTANCE TO GET HIM BACK ,paid off,now we have got got him back lets hope some of what he has achieved rubs off again on us.

The best individual performance in a grand final that I have ever seen.
Just dominated the game & won the premiership off his own boot, kicking 9 goals I think Arab.
Has the ability to play AFL & it may not still be too late judging by some of the draftees in recent years

We might be from the bush. but we ain't green

Eric Wallace played in DL side. There is a write up on The Courier web site.
