Should be a hard fought close game.Pity Saad is out suspended.Depending on the weather I might rock along.
So the weather is an issue billy, poor effort I must say if that's the case, seems like it won't be long and the Saints will be taking over,a sad day it will be,you know where I'm coming from digs hey
Looking forward to this game. One of my favourite grounds, usually a good crowd and interesting to see some of these new Sandy lads running around.
Williamstown underwhelming so far this season, but a good core of VFL players seem to be settling down now.
Hopefully drop into the social rooms for a beer after the game.
I dont live 5 minutes from the ground mate and dont have the passion to see StKida seconds players not trying and Sandy get done at home like happened over the last 3 seasons.
You might remember I got bagged for saying this by Sandy people on here but we now know I was right and that Lyon and by default his players and the St Kilda board were complicit in that.
I also hope Pelchen dosent turn out to be a snake in the grass like Conolloy was at the ead with the MFC.
Sorry double post
Development league result
Sandy 3.0 9.4 10.5 16.10
Willy 7.3 10.5 18.9 20.10
Footy is the winner
Well,I dragged my sorry arse to the Beach Road Oval and what do you reckon the Zebs put up another pisspoor showing at home in front a pretty good crowd. The trend of home game losses just goes on and on.
The umpiring esp in the crucial 3rd qtr was crap but they were not the reason that Sandy lost they were simply beaten by a side that wanted the ball a lot more and on top of that for the number of AFL listed players in the side they made a lot of silly mistakes.
Would have to improve a hell of a lot on todays performance such as it was to feature high up in the finals.

Billy, the Zebs weren't that bad, if they had kicked straight after the shocking umpiring decision & 50 metre penalty in the last quarter the difference would have been just one point, but fortunately they missed & then Willi ran away with it. It was a scrappy game, no doubt affected by the wind & the lightning/thunder in the last quarter (Collingwood would have taken their players off the ground if we were still aligned with them!). Can't see either side featuring in the big one at the end of the season. It is a strange feeling to walk away from TBO with regular wins nowadays, we used to always lose down there. Must say the new social club is not as noisy & volatile as in days gone by, either.
Closer game than the quarter by quarters suggest. Sandy got within a point at the 26th minute mark in the last term as the rain started to tumble, but were probably a bit unlucky as the wind seemed to drop a bit as the storm came through. Willy kicked last 3 goals of the game. Skinner did nothing all game, then came up with 2 pearlers at the death.
The big fella Sikora went off in the last term with a knee after twisting it in a pack.
Still have yet gone to the new zebra social club. Had to play over 47s today.
Played at Mitcham and that is one good ground with magnificent surface.
Will promise to get to see a game some time this year and visit the new social club some time this year.
Catch up with Black Rocker, Zebra Man and Zebra for a few ales,
