From that half time score two posts above, the lead was out to 27 points early in the third quarter before WA came back to tie the match at 74 points at 3/4 time. A goal from WA captain Craig Wulff putting them in front inside the first minute of the last quarter.

Some poor WA disposal judgement and turnover at 8 minutes arguably the turning point, perhaps (?) a bit of luck up forward, composure and a bit more "in the tank" saw the SANFL home.

For the home side, the Eagles' Adam Grocke (7 goals) winning the Fos Williams Medal while the Royals' Paul Johnson winning the Simpson Medal for the WAFL side.

The SANFL got the jump on the WAFL early in the first quarter for a lead resembling the final margin. WA doing well in humid, coolish conditions on the small Glenelg ground, similar in area to North Port.

Some problems with the broadcast during the day sorry to have a dig at Tasmanian TV but if they do this match again in the future lets hope they get it right.

It's a great credit to ABC Melbourne there VFL broadcast is very good

1.During the National anthem at the start of the match there was not a camera panning along the teams this is not a good look having shots of backs of players.

2.Audio Problems during the day.

3.No Mics on umpires

4.Not a live version of the National Anthem insted a poor audio tape recording of the song

What did you expect it is Tassie afterall!Tassie is famous as the ABC State and it dosent mean ABC TV! LOL

Burbank. You are right about the Phil Cleary interview with Grant Williams. It was so bad it made me cringe. And I am a fan of Phil Cleary. even my partner said it was embarrassing. Maybe it's time to put Phil back in the commentary box. Sometimes he gets overheated for on the ground interviews.
