Port Melbourne and the Coburg Tigers both aim to bounce back from surprising losses when they go head to head in the Round 12 ABC TV match of the round.
Round 11 saw Port Melbourne experience their second loss for the season, after being defeated by Geelong on Saturday. The Cats had lost three games in a row but entered the contest with an impressive line-up.
Port Melbourne Coach, Gary Ayres disregarded their opponents recent results and expected a tough battle.
“We knew that this was going to be an extremely hard game to win against Geelong at Geelong and it was only 4 weeks ago that they were sitting second on the ladder. I felt we lost our advantage at the stoppages and the flow on effect was Geelong winning the clearances. This put our defence under pressure and our running and offensive game was below par.”
Port challenged early, trailing at the first break by a goal. The second quarter was all Port, but inaccuracy (3 goals, 9 points) kept Coburg right in the hunt.
Just look at the great crowd in the first shots.
I love it; well done Station.
The teams are out, im just having some problems posting them.
Really enjoyed the footage of Pinwill and the push up king about to go at it!!
Lets hope for a good crowd on saturday with no AFL or rain forcast during the afternoon.
Someone able to post up the sides? Im on a tablet..tricky!

Cheers Robbo!
Port has a couple of handy inclusions, but what is the story with Gale? I believe he missed last week too.
Bentick resuming in the reserves is great news. He has been 'a couple of weeks' away for a long time.
I'll be honest, I don't know much about the line-up Coburg is fielding. Comments from people in the loop please!
