I mentioned him in another thread, but he has been very impressive so far this season. Particularly when you consider he is a young player in his first season of VFL footy. His run and carry and attacking play would have to have him come into consideration at draft time. Appears to have good tackling strength, and decision making.
The Frankston boys (Haretuku, Osbourne, Martin) will all be looked at.
The most impressive youngster Ive seen this year is Dean Towers. If he gets on an AFL list Im sure he will develop into a very good player at the top level.
Billy Burstin could also be a chance and is very talented. I could see him playing a similar role to what Ben Dixon did for Hawthorn.
Id say all VFL clubs have at least 3 players capable. Looking at what Ian Callinan has done at the age of 28 I still think Sam Dwyer, Shane Valenti, Chris Cain, Ben Duscher and Kris Pendlebury are a chance.
Not a fan of the mid season drafts. It would certainly wreck the season for some of the vfl clubs if they had a few of their top players gone mid season.
If there was one that would be gone mid season in teh mid season, certainly it would be Khan Haretuku.

Burra,
You are right about every club having players that are capable of playing in the big time. Why would have it taken so long for AFL clubs to recognise the talents of players like Callinin, Podsiadly,Stephenson etc.
If Valenti could not still get a game with Melbourne i'll give it away. You are right about Towers too, not many players make the state side after about 6 games.
Port Melbourne #54 Jason Williams

Would be handy at a number of AFL clubs.
Frankstons full forward
Yup.. almost a certainty to at least be re-rookied (was on St Kildas list wasn't he?)

Youngsters in the mix would be:
Coleman, Cook (Sandy)
Williams (Port Melb)
Marcon (Nortern)
Buchan (Frankston)
Critchley (Willy/Western)

Love the VFL grand final at Etihad Stadium.
