DEFENDER Liam Hoy is back for North Ballarat after a month on the sidelines in the VFL.

He lines up for the Roosters, having missed four matches after straining a hamstring against Frankston.

The VFL representative has been named in a back pocket to face Geelong in Ballarat on Sunday.

He is the only inclusion, replacing Cruize Garlett, who has been recalled by North Melbourne to fill the vacancy left by the suspended Linday Thomas.

MEANWHILE, North Ballarat utility Chris Lynch's season is over after he broke a clavicle while playing for Bell Park in Geelong when the Roosters had a bye.

Lynch is scheduled to have surgery today.
