Preston is a bog after games were played on the ground this afternoon.

Match has most likely been moved so Carlton can train on Visy Park later this week.

Next weekend if they can't play both games at Visy Park then the VFL has to step and shift the game to Frankston.

Carlton do need to use the ground for training. And I guess AFL Vic are making sure the ground at Visy is looked after for TAC Cup finals in the following 3 weeks..

There is a ground inspection at Visy Park today.

There is certainly a big chance that the Northern Blues vs Frankston games will be moved to save the surface for TAC Cup finals.

Looks like Preston City Oval is being used by the NFL for finals on Saturday too so that could rule it out?

Is Frankston hosting any MPNFL finals next weekend?

Frankston is available but unlikely as it is a Blues home game. Some chance these games may go to a neutral venue eg Box Hill. Should know more soon.

The meeting has been going since 12pm. A venue change to a neutral venue for Nth Blues vs Frankston games looking more and more likely as the afternoon goes on!!!!

Now it looks less likely a decision on the Northern Blues vs Frankston games, whether it is played at Visy Park or elsewhere is unlikely to be known today.
